5G technology will offer innovative services at much faster speeds, increased capacity, and better coverage to support the exponential growth of devices over service provider networks (27.1 billion connected devices Planned on a global scale and 345 million in Spain at 2021). Starting at 2020, 5G connections will grow by more than 1,000 percent globally, from the 2.3 million planned in 2020 to over 25 million in 2021.

Yvette Kanouff, senior vice president and director general for suppliers of services on Cisco: “The 4G technology revolutionized connectivity, while 5G will revolutionize experiences by creating a new environment for the generation of services, providing operators to what they need to offer new generation entertainment experiences. Only Cisco has the portfolio of services, infrastructure and automation to support our global customers in their initiative.

Cisco is showing mobile service providers and operators why it is important to plan the jump to 5G and what they can really accomplish with this technology. The CISCO proposal focuses on three aspects: services, infrastructure and automation.
