Computer criminals auction 120 million data from Facebook profiles

Hackers put in sale personal data extracted from various accounts of Facebook users.
A virtual package with the personal data of 120 million of Facebook accounts, which among other information would contain private messages from the affected users, was put on sale by a group of Russian hackers, priced at 10 cents (8.75 euro cents) for each one.

According to the Spanish newspaper El País, the cybercriminals involved in the leak of information, who had published an advertisement on social networks before removing it, attacked mainly internet users from Russia and Ukraine.

Through the malicious extensions of browsers such as Chrome, Opera and Firefox, as well as the third, hackers have ensured that they have obtained access to the data of millions of people: the base they have comprises 120 million profiles, About 2.7 million of these were opened in Russia.
