Google enhances security in Android

Android’s mandatory security updates will be powered by Google to all those OEM’s on the market, which could make mobile phones and tablets safer.

Updates are one of the main problems that exist in the Android ecosystem, and Google wants to solve this situation. While Project treble has proven to be able to facilitate upgrades, from Google they seek to increase OEM requirements when it comes to security patches.

This is another one of the ads that occurred during the Google I/O 2018, where the head of security of the Google Android platform, David Kleidermacher, said they would make some changes that are coming in the security policy of the company.
