Intel technology company introduced the Intel Core processor I9-8950HK, specifically developed for laptops, with which it expects to achieve greater performance in the use of these equipment. In addition, the manufacturer has announced that this new chip will be compatible with its Intel Optane technology.

This version of Intel Core I9 is part of a new range of processors for laptops also formed by the models i7 and i5. All of them are based on the coffee Lake platform and the 14nm processing technology, which guarantees, according to Intel, up to 41% more frames per second in gaming experience and a 4k video edition up to 59% faster than the previous generation.

The range is headed by the Intel Core I9-8950HK model, which is Intel’s “first mobile processor” with six cores and 12 threads. This component incorporates the Intel Thermal Velocity Boost (TVB) technology, which automatically increases its clock frequency up to 200 megahertz if the temperature is low enough, which results in an increase in frequency up to 4.8 Gigahertz.
