HTC began selling their virtual reality headphones live focus independent around the world, after an initial launch in China earlier this year. The handset will cost $599 in the United States and is intended for commercial customers in 37 countries.
It is part of a major attempt to make the HTC VR headphones attractive to businesses, including a recently announced collaborative application called Vive Sync, which allows employees from different offices to meet and work together in the Virtual reality.
It is a standalone mobile headset that tracks the movement of a user with external cameras, similar to the Oculus Quest headset of $399. HTC promotes the Vive Focus as a headset for “companies that want a virtual reality mobile experience.
