The broadcast service is headed to one of the biggest game events of the year. Netflix will host its own panel at the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3.
Such a revelation was generated after a playful round-trip between Netflix and E3 Twitter accounts on Monday.
Under the title “Giving life to your favorite shows: developing Netflix’s Originals in video games”, the panel will be part of the E3 Coliseum, where companies occupy a central place to discuss their projects.
According to Netflix’s Twitter account, the company will talk about its upcoming game Stranger things, and “There’s definitely more to come.”
Since June 2017, Netflix began offering interactive content with the launch of Puss in Book for kids. Then, last May, he announced that Minecraft: Story Mode from Telltale Games would be presented on the platform and allow spectators to interact with the game as they would with any other game system.
Later, in December last year, the service doubled the use of its gaming platform. There was The stranger things 3: The Gamereveal in The Game Awards and then the launch of the interactive Black Mirror: Bandersnatch.
In March, the company would have confirmed its impulse with plans for more interactive content. The E3 goes from 11 to 13 June, which is an interesting time for Netflix, as Black Mirror Season 5 begins on June 5 and Stranger things Season 3 begins on July 4.
