Noise-free, wireless and trouble-free: Sony’s new WF-1000XM3 wireless headphones

Sony expands its renowned 1000X family with the addition of a new generation of fully wireless headphones: the WF-1000XM3. Sony’s industry-leading noise cancellation1 has been further enhanced with the HD Noise Cancelling QN1e processor and Dual Noise Sensor technology, which delivers exceptional noise cancellation.

Total Silence

The HEADPHONES WF-1000XM3 feature technology Dual Noise Sensor, which works with the new processor HD Noise Canceling QN1e to capture and isolate the noise, respectively, respectively, so you can focus entirely on your music. Dual Noise Sensor technology captures ambient sound around you. Once the ambient sound is captured, the HD Noise Cancelling QN1e processor is activated and the hearing aids can isolate everything from the noise inside an aircraft cabin to the hustle and bustle of the streets, so you only listen to the music.

Cable-free for total freedom

The fully wireless design of the WF-1000XM3 hearing aids lets you move freely without the hassle of getting between cables. The WF-1000XM3 is small and lightweight, but they manage to incorporate a bluetooth ® newly developed chip, that allows both the right and left earbuds to receive the hearing content at the same time, rather than the conventional BLUETOOTH® transmission from left to right, resulting in an extremely stable connection, so that nothing interferes between you and your Music.

The WF-1000XM3 hearing aids are specifically designed for comfort and stability in the ear. The “triple ergonomic support” structure keeps the hearing aids in place, with three ear support points. A high friction rubber surface has also been included to ensure a stable fit.

Intelligent battery convenience and accessibility

You can listen for up to 24 hours[1] with noise cancellation turned on, as the modern WF-1000XM3 headphone case also doubles as a charger — ideal for getting more battery life while on the go. Hearing aids even feature a fast charging feature: only 10 minutes of charging gives you up to 90 minutes of battery life.

Conveniently control what your ears receive with Quick Attention mode, you can communicate without removing your hearing aids. Simply place your finger on the touchpad on the left earbud to turn down the music volume and let in the ambient sound. In addition, fully customized touch sensors on your hearing aids[2] allow you to listen, pause, skip songs, or activate your voice assistant easily with the touch of the panel. The new Wearing Detection feature automatically pauses music when you remove one of your hearing aids from your ear and resumes it when you reinsert it, so you’ll never miss a note.

With built-in Google Assistant[3], you can control your hearing aids with voice, making WF-1000XM3s the ideal company to transport you to work. The hearing aids are also compatible with the Sony app Headphones Connect, where you’ll find customization features for sound, noise cancellation, touch controls and more.

The WF-1000XM3 will be available from August.
