QNAP showcased its next generation NAS – TS-x51 for Home & SOHO at Computex 2014

The QNAP TS-x51 features an Intel Celeron dual-core processor and comes with the latest QTS 4.1 operating system. It provides streaming capability with both on-the-fly and offline transcoding. It is the first hypervisor equipped NAS for Home/SOHO segment which allows users to run Windows or Linux OS on the QNAP intelligent private cloud platform.  It has built-in virtual machines technology, personal cloud for creating a multimedia library with DLNA, AirPlay, and Plex support, as well as IEEE 802 support.  It counts with 11ac Wi-Fi USB dongle and a variety of apps available in QNAP’s App center that are free and easy to install.

Visitors were able to enjoy these new products and solutions at theTaipei World Trade Center and at QNP’s area in Nangang Exhibition Hall, Stand J1118.
