WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook suffered world fall 

The wednesday afternoon, users from different parts of the world reported failures in the operation of the Instant Messaging service WhatsApp, as well as Facebook and Instagram.

Among the most affected areas can be mentioned Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Canada, USA and several European countries, according to the data portal Downdetector.

50% of reported failures were related to sending and receiving messages, a 37% connection and 11% has to do with problems entering the account.

Telegram won three million of users

In the last 24 hours, three million new users were registered in Telegram, in the time that Facebook Messenger, Instagram and WHATSAPP presented cuts and falls around the world.

The founder and CEO of Telegram, Pavel Durov, announced the news through his personal channel of Telegram. It is a great number for a service that has 200 million active users from March 2018.

It is worth to mention that telegram is a free service of messaging encrypted similar to WhatsApp, and currently works with donations from users instead of the model of ads oriented used by Facebook that is enabled by the data that it collects from its users.
